Spare time

Use the following list as a way to spark ideas for what you can do in a short amount of time.
  • Reading file. Clip magazine articles or print out good articles or reports for reading later, and keep them in a folder marked “Reading File”. Take this wherever you go, and any time you have a little chunk of time, you can knock off items in your Reading File. Keep a reading file on your computer (or in your bookmarks), for quick reading while at your desk (or on the road if you’ve got a laptop).
  • Clear out inbox. Got a meeting in 5 minutes? Use it to get your physical or email inbox to empty. If you’ve got a lot in your inbox, you’ll have to work quickly, and you may not get everything done, but reducing your pile can be a big help. And having an empty inbox is a wonderful feeling.
  • Phone calls. Keep a list of phone calls you need to make, with phone numbers, and carry it everywhere. Whether you’re at your desk or on the road, you can knock a few calls off your list in a short amount of time.
  • Make money. This is my favorite productive use of free time. I have a list of articles I need to write, and when I get some spare minutes, I’ll knock off half an article real quick. If you get 5-10 chunks of free time a day, you can make a decent side income. Figure out how you can free-lance your skills, and have work lined up that you can knock out quickly — break it up into little chunks, so those chunks can be done in short bursts.
  • File. No one likes to do this. If you’re on top of your game, you’re filing stuff immediately, so it doesn’t pile up. But if you’ve just come off a really busy spurt, you may have a bunch of documents or files laying around. Or maybe you have a big stack of stuff to file. Cut into that stack with every little bit of spare time you get, and soon you’ll be in filing Nirvana

home like no place is there

Home is a place of comfort, growth, and coming of age. You spend years with your parents and maybe some siblings, forging a bond that will last a lifetime

why media is important?

It gets your message across to a wider audience.

The various forms of media – primarily television, newspapers and radio – spread and disseminate information. Getting your information into the media will spread your group's story further than it could be spread without media coverage.

It can help you target your message to the people you want to hear it.

The media is so varied that a community group or organisation can closely target almost any sector – and through them, almost any section of the public - by looking closely at where it is directing its media focus.

For example – a small, locally-based community group would probably look at concentrating on its efforts in local newspapers, radio and (if applicable) television.

A bigger event or bigger community organisation could look further afield – to major daily newspapers and commercial radio and television.

And then there's the Internet, which continues to emerge as a component of the media.

Study english by singing english songs?

I keep listening and singing songs for me to improve my English fluides. I think a great way to learn new words

according to an article mentions that English is important because
  • Song brings people together and aids group cohesion.
  • It is used extensively whilst teaching a first language to children, as the benefits are proven.
  • We remember songs.  They stay with us.
  • Through song, students can improve their vocabulary and literacy skills.
  • Song enables the teacher to point out and work on difficult phonemes.
  • It is a great way to teach rhythm, connected speech and intonation.
  • Songs teach us about culture and are an important part of most cultures.
  • The emotions expressed in a song make it easier to remember.
  • Singing is pleasurable and interesting. It increases the endorphins which make people feel relaxed.
  • We can listen to and repeat a song many times more than a standard dialogue.
  • Using song in the ESL classroom brings several intelligences together at the same time and strengthens the learning process.
  • Language teaching has traditionally used the written form as the model, when actually song is much closer to everyday speech.
  • Song reaches learners with left and right brain strengths.
  • first conditional second conditional and third conditional

The conditionals are very important in the english lenguages because it is used to use in a conversations

    1. First conditional:If I have enough money, I will go to Japan
    2. Second conditional:If I had enough money, I would go to Japan.
    3. Third conditional:If I had had enough money, I would have gone to Japan.

    Remember!

    1. The conditional construction does not normally use will or would in if-clauses. EXCEPTION: If will or would express willingness, as in requests, they can be used in if-clauses.
e.g. If you will come this way, the manager will see you now.
I would be grateful if you would give me a little help.
(= ± please, come this way; please, give me...)
    2. For the second conditional, were replaces was:
If I were a rich man...
    3. After if, we can either use "some(-one, -where...)" or "any(-one, -where...).
If I have some spare time next weekend....or :
If I have any spare time...
    4. Instead of if not, we can use unless.
e.g. I'll be back tomorrow unless there is a plane strike.
He'll accept the job unless the salary is too low.
5.There is a "mixed type" as well, for the present results of an unreal condition in the past:
If + Past Perfect - would + inf.
If you had warned me [then], I would not be in prison [now].

    what makes a good movie?

In a good movie the script is essential, that is logical, and well armed, I do not care that does not have new stories, but if you count them in an original way, with a different language, and also that the story has a rate that get caught (for example, "the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" could be the typical story of the breakup of a couple, but by the way they tell it was still great). However, if history is innovative, brilliant. The characters are also important, that are close, human, real, you believe them (even if they are antagonists, or secondary, but understand the reason for his being), which is reflected in the quality of the actor to form and interpret the character.
And of course, the most important thing is that you get to excite pain, despair, elation, wonder, joy, anguish. Among other things, the soundtrack and photography are heavily involved in the generation of emotions.

I think an excellent film is Brice Almighty

    What makes a good teacher?

    What makes a good teacher?

A good teacher makes good students, but what’s skills, tools, habits, values does that person need called teacher to teach best way? Every student in differences Universities colleges, academies hope to lean as much as they can, but it is influenced by the teacher, besides the students need to focus in their subjects

Pedagogy is the science and art of education this is the main skill in a teacher accompanied of by patience, honesty, respect, punctuality, friendliness, being a good communicator and more. The keys to be a good teacher are to focus on never seeing others under your shoulders, recognized your weaknesses and mistakes and try to be justice with their students everyday

In conclusion the theacher have to Invest their students  with both “I can” and “I want”—that is, great teachers help their students both understand that they can do the work to meet the high expectations on them, and that their efforts will be worth it (that they want it).
